Tryscity Shelton

Hi, my name is Tryscity Shelton, and I’m starting my junior year at the University of Southern Indiana, where I’m pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Psychology. This is my first year coaching with River City, and I couldn’t be more excited! I also just wrapped up my first season coaching the freshman team at Harrison High School.

 

I grew up playing volleyball from middle school through high school with River City, and I even continued my career at Spalding University, where I played for a season. Being able to come full circle and return to River City as a coach feels truly special. Volleyball has always been a big part of my life, I want to be able to share my love and knowledge of this game to these girls and help them grow their confidence and skills this season! 

When I’m not coaching, I’m either working (Academy Sports and Outdoors), studying, or spending time with my little cousins. I also work a food truck called Hot Diggity Dog on the side. I love traveling and trying new things (skydiving is next) and I’m always down to go to a concert! Heres to a season full of growth and high energy!!
