Candice Carroll

My name is Candice Carroll, and volleyball has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started playing school volleyball in 6th grade and continued through high school.  I played 3 years of club volleyball for Evansville River City. I’m a proud graduate of Boonville High School, where my love for the game truly grew.

 

After high school, I began coaching 7th and 8th grade volleyball at Boonville and spent 10 years working with young athletes before taking a five year break to start my family. I returned to coaching in 2020 as Boonville’s freshman coach and have spent the past three years coaching the JV team. My favorite part of coaching is watching how much progress one athlete can make when they truly trust the process. It's incredibly rewarding.

 

Outside of volleyball, my husband Andy and I stay busy with our two kids, Brooks (11) and Briley (8). Both are competitive swimmers, and Briley also competes in gymnastics.  Our family is active in Warrick County 4-H, where we raise and show beef cattle.  We have two standard poodles, Bowser and Breeza, who are very much part of the family.  We love staying involved, learning, and finding new adventures together. I’m thrilled to be joining the Evansville River City coaching staff this season and can’t wait for all that’s ahead!
